Prem Tinsulanonda International School (PTIS) is on a 100-acre campus at Huay Sai, Mae Rim. Established in 2001, it is an IB World School teaching the PYP (Grades 1 to 5), the MYP (Grades 6 to 10) and the Diploma and Career-related Programme (Grades 11 to 12). It was the first school in Thailand to offer the Career-related Programme.
The school has more than 500 students, over 100 of them boarders, and uses positive-pressure systems to keep indoor air clean. Boarding is charged on top of tuition.
